Jennifer
Aniston, who plays the title character in Along Came Polly. Polly
is a free-spirited, spicy food eating, salsa dancing, animal
loving lady who keeps her pet ferret in her apartment. Aniston admitted
that she doesn't share any of those traits with Polly. However, she
does share the experience of having a ferret co-star with her husband,
Brad Pitt -- a friendly pet weasel can also be seen in Pitt's 1994
romantic adventure, Legends of the Fall.

Debra Messing, who plays Lisa, Polly's romantic rival. Debra said
that although Lisa cheats on her husband during their honeymoon,
she is actually a good person who simply did the wrong thing.

Philip Seymour Hoffman similarly defended his reprehensible comic
character, Sandy Lyle. Sandy lies to his best friend, does revolting
things in public, and tries to steal the lead in a play away from
a fellow actor -- but according to Phil, I have no heart because
I described Sandy as "somewhat unlikable". (see the video)

Hank
Azaria, who plays Claude, the object of Lisa's honeymoon hullabaloo.
In the film, Azaria is channeling Armand Assanté circa 1982,
complete with the heavy accent, long bleach-streaked hair, and penchant
for muscle-flexing nudity.

Ben
Stiller, or at least a reasonable facsimile. The actor was late
in arriving, so he didn't pause for photos down the press line.
He was late because he was taping "The Tonight Show" where
he mercilessly dissed his co-star, Rodolfo the ferret [he later
apologized, formally, on NBC's Today Show]. According to Stiller,
he was nipped on the chin just after shooting a scene where his
character, Rueben, had to run down the street holding the ferret.
According to the ferret, he was simply trying to feed Stiller his
next line.

One
of the "Rodolfo" ferrets from the movie (this one is
named Jack). He was the handsomest, most well-behaved, and humble
actor at
the
premiere.
Well, maybe
not the most handsome... Brad Pitt was there as well. And, perhaps
not the most humble either... the ferret told me that he'd retained
Don King as his manager and is planning on challenging Stiller
to a rematch at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. (see his other
comments
on the video)

and "Rodolfo", weaseling out!
